About The Love of Cypress Driftwood

Growing up in the South, I developed a deep appreciation for the beauty of cypress trees. Their towering trunks and delicate leaves always captivated me, and I loved spending time exploring the swamps and bayous where they thrived. To this day, the sight of a cypress tree fills me with a sense of peace and wonder, reminding me of the natural beauty that surrounds us all. Growing up on the Atchafalaya Basin was a unique experience that I wouldn't trade for anything. The vast swamps and bayous were my playground, and I spent countless hours exploring their hidden corners and marveling at the wildlife that called them home. From fishing and hunting to simply enjoying the peace and quiet, life on the basin was full of adventure and wonder.
